The Mongolian Coal Association, founded in 1998 as a non-governmental organization, serves as a dedicated advocate for safeguarding the collective and legitimate interests of its members.

Comprising coal mining enterprises from both the public and private sectors, particularly those with foreign investment, the association holds sway over more than 90 percent of Mongolia’s coal production and export, consolidating its pivotal role in the industry.

Scientist-engineer with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, working in government, private sector, and academic institutions.
Specializes in mineral law reform, policy development, project evaluation, investment, procurement, and sector governance. Experience in public procurement, mining legal reform, and making a real contribution to the sustainable development of the sector.

BAGATEMUUJIN BOLORMAA (Executive Director Mongolian Coal Assосation )

Experienced professional with experience in mining, insurance, railways and international trade. High level of Chinese language proficiency, specialized in foreign relations and project management. Skilled in drafting trade agreements, coordinating implementation, and successfully managing international partnerships. Also experienced in organizing industry conferences and events, and has strong ability to represent organizations and communicate at an international level.
